Flu season is upon us at full force. While it’s true that the decrease in temperature is the cause of our weakened immune systems, hiding out at your warm desk may do you more bad than good. According to the CDC, the flu virus often spreads through droplets of an infected person’s sneeze or cough, which can be transmitted from up to 6 feet away. What’s more, this virus thrives in dry climates, so the dry air blasting through your office’s heaters only promotes virus transmission.
