Think your groceries are getting too expensive? Last winter, residents of a remote Canadian village were paying $28 for a head of cabbage and $65 for a pound of chicken. It’s unlikely such absurd food prices will trickle south, but they are creeping up–and when food prices rise, diets typically tank.
